Investing in Education: Shin-Line Supports Young Innovators

The Shin-Line Corporate Charity Foundation has allocated KZT 1 million to support the SIRIUS FTC #33422 robotics team in participating in the international Istanbul Premier Event 2026 tournament, which will take place from June 26 to 28 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Supporting talented young people, fostering engineering thinking, and promoting STEM education are among the Foundation’s key priorities. The financial assistance will help cover the team’s travel expenses, support the upgrade and fine-tuning of their robot ahead of the competition, and provide official team uniforms for the participants.

SIRIUS represents School-Gymnasium No. 206 in Almaty’s Nauryzbay District and brings together students passionate about programming, engineering, and robotics. Over the past few years, the team has achieved outstanding results at regional and Central Asian FIRST Tech Challenge competitions, earning the Reach Award, Sustain Award, and Control Award. These accomplishments secured the young engineers an international qualification spot at the prestigious FIRST Premier Event.

Participation in the Istanbul Premier Event 2026 will provide students with valuable international experience, opportunities to exchange knowledge with some of the world’s strongest teams, and a chance to proudly represent Kazakhstan on one of the leading global platforms in robotics.
