A New Boost for K-Food Development in Almaty

The production complex of Shin-Line was honored to welcome H.E. Mr. Jeong Gi Hong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Kazakhstan, on his official visit.

During the visit, the Ambassador was introduced to the company's production facilities, its long-term development strategy, and one of its flagship initiatives—the establishment of a K-Food Cluster in Almaty.

The project aims to attract leading South Korean food manufacturers, localize production, and introduce advanced technologies to the Kazakh market. Its implementation is expected to expand the range of high-quality food products, create new jobs, and further strengthen economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador toured the production facilities, gaining firsthand insight into the company's manufacturing processes. He highly appreciated the enterprise's potential as a platform for implementing joint investment projects.

The establishment of the K-Food Cluster will mark an important milestone in the development of Almaty's food industry and create new opportunities for cooperation between Kazakh and Korean businesses.
