Shin-Line, Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and Sungwon Machinery Launch Korean Ice Cream Production Project

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shin-Line LLP, and South Korean company Sungwon Machinery Co., Ltd. have signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding. The parties intend to develop technological cooperation, introduce advanced production solutions, and launch the production of Korean-style ice cream in Kazakhstan.

As part of the agreement, Shin-Line Engineering is planned to be established on the basis of Shin-Line LLP. The company will serve as a center of expertise for the implementation, development, and adaptation of advanced technologies for food production.

The South Korean side will provide technological and engineering expertise. The production processes are expected to incorporate automated solutions, including Dry Coater technology, high-precision pumping stations, and Summer Crunch production systems.

The project involves not only the modernization of production equipment, but also technology transfer and the development of in-house engineering expertise in Kazakhstan. This will enable the adaptation of advanced solutions to local production and the creation of new products with high added value.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan will provide information and advisory support for the project, facilitate cooperation with government authorities, and inform the participants about available government support measures for investment projects in the food industry.

Our goal is to bring Korean expertise to Kazakhstan, build our own engineering capabilities, and create new products that meet high international standards. We have chosen a strong technology partner and believe that this cooperation will deliver long-term results,” said Andrey Shin, President of Shin-Line LLP.

The cooperation is planned for a three-year period. The project is expected to contribute to attracting advanced foreign technologies, developing local engineering expertise, expanding production capabilities, and further strengthening the export potential of Kazakhstan’s food industry.
