Shin-Line Launches an International Environmental Initiative: Memorandum Signed with AFoCO in Seoul
On April 8, 2026, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Seoul (Republic of Korea) between the Shin-Line Group of Companies and the Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO), an international intergovernmental organization established to strengthen regional cooperation in sustainable forest management and forest restoration across Asian countries.
The document was signed on behalf of Shin-Line by the President of the company, Andrey Antonovich Shin, and on behalf of the organization by the Executive Director, Park Changho.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important step in advancing the company’s environmental agenda and is aimed at implementing joint initiatives in forest restoration in Kazakhstan. One of the key areas of cooperation will be the construction and operation of a forest nursery.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in exchanging advanced international experience, implementing modern technologies, and developing sustainable solutions in the field of forest resource management.
This partnership opens up new opportunities for Shin-Line to scale its environmental initiatives and further strengthen the company’s contribution to sustainable development in Kazakhstan.
